It was a very welcoming, relaxed place to stay. Reception staff were very helpful. Rooms nicely decorated and clean. Lovely conservatory eating and drinking area.
The Hotel Sign was difficult to see so we almost drove past. The windows in room did not give a lot of natural light for when you needed to shave or applying make-up. Staff serving breakfast were a little slow in responding to our needs and could have been a little more cheerful.

Very warm welcome, lovely room (very quiet too) and Ware itself looks to be a nice town. It's a bit 'Crossroads Motel' from the outside but the friendly staff and general atmosphere make it a great place for a night. Will definitely stay again even though it's actually farther from the office than where I usually stay. Highly recommended.

The best part of the hotel are the staff! They are very friendly and helpful, which came in handy when I needed a heavy bag to be carried to the second floor. The rooms were lovely and clean and more than adequate for a quick stay!
I would have like there to be a free wifi service rather than the pay as you go!

The staff were very friendly, especially the reception staff which was nice because it made me feel comfortable. The bar was laid back. I really liked the breakfast room and the breakfast was lovely on my first day when the hotel was quiet. My room was comfortable too.
For £90 a night I expected my room to be spotless. The bedding was lovely and clean but the surfaces in the bathroom and on the desk hadn't been wiped down properly and were a little dusty and there were a few other people's hairs stuck to the side of the bath and around the sink and on the bathroom floor which I felt a bit squeamish about. Also the breakfast on my second day was very disorganised. When I came down to breakfast at around 0930 the hot breakfast food had run out and some of the juices and I had to wait for more bacon, mushrooms and eggs to arrive and also I wasn't offered any toast whereas the morning before had been much more organised. I was a little disappointed, even though I really liked the hotel and liked my room.

Very friendly staff, really comfortable room, and located in a really nice town.
The internet wasnt working during my stay, and the hotel was a bit too far away from the train station when carrying luggage. I was also a bit surprised when I paid the bill that the rate I was expecting to pay didnt include tax.

Very nice staff very friendly, plenty of parking space, fairly quiet location, very central for town and trains
The breakfast which was just plain awful, we were given a complimentary breakfast after my daughter did mention that the price for the room was very expensive if it did not include breakfast. However the breakfast was not good, tea was stewed and the staff just stood with their arms folded whilst people lifted the lids on and off the cooked items. Certainly would not have been worth £10

We had an enjoyable stay, a very pleasant room. the bed was comfortable and the room not too hot. The location was our first draw being 5 min walk from our daughter's new home which is a one bedroom flat.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful The rooms and beds were comfortable The food was good - we only had breakfast
We were not told there would be two flights of stairs to our room - my husband and are not very mobile (my husband has heart failure) and assumed there would be a lift Extra pillows would have made our sleeping more comfortable The bathroom needed redecorating and looked shabby

My husband was hungry late in the evening and asked for something to eat - he was told there was only cheese and pickle sandwhiches - he asked for toast, and was told no, he could only have the sandwhich. The walls were paper thin and I could hear every word the guests said - they were talking until 4 in the morning - not loud, just normal but I could not sleep - I went down and asked the manager to ask them to go to bed!! They got up at 6.30pm so in all I had a very bad sleep

Good location clean room and a decent breakfast plenty of parking spaces.
Room furnishings appear to be past their best and seem to be overdue for replacement
